Regular Season Round 23: Echague - Quimsa 78-92
Date: December 10, 2016
There was no surprise when 10th ranked Echague (3-17) lost to third ranked Quimsa (13-9) in Parana 78-92. The game was mostly controlled by Quimsa. Echague was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Quimsa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Naturalized American guard Phillip Hopson (188-88, college: Idaho) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Quimsa players scored in double figures.
