There was no surprise in Sant Adria de Besos where 10th ranked ADBA (3-8) was crushed by second ranked Sant Adria (9-2) 89-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sant Adria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sant Adria forced 21 ADBA turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Cris Hurtado (187-92) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Itziar Llobet (180-93, college: Kent St.) chipped in 19 points and 4 steals. Four Sant Adria players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Croatian center Jovana Mandic (193-92, college: Nicholls St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and French forward Rudiane Eduardo (185-93, college: UTEP) added 11 points respectively for the guests. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Sant Adria. They maintain second place with 9-2 record having just two points less than leader Leganes, which they share with Alcobendas. Loser ADBA dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. Sant Adria will face Arxil Pontevedra (#6) on the road in the next round. ADBA will play against Oviedo (#14) and hope to win that game.
