Regular Season Round 11: Musel Pikes - T71 84-69

Leader Musel Pikes delivered the ninth victory. This time they beat 7th ranked T71 (5-6) 84-69 in Stadrbredimus. It looked good early as T71 took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Musel Pikes had a 15-11 second period charge getting the lead and T71 was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-84. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Four Musel Pikes players scored in double figures. American power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87) added 26 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for T71. Musel Pikes (9-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Amicale. T71 lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. Musel Pikes will play against Arantia (#9) in Larochette in the next round and are hoping to win another game. T71 will play at home against Etzella and hopes to get back on the winning track.
