Very expected game when 5th ranked Yokohama BC (7-15) was defeated at home by first ranked Aishin Sea Horses (17-5) 87-83 on Saturday. Yokohama BC was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Aishin Sea Horses made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international center JR Sakuragi (206-76, college: UCLA) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Aishin Sea Horses players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses' coach Kimikazu Suzuki used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (210-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Takuya Kawamura (193-86) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
