Regular Season Round 10: Aris - Kymis 85-72

Not a big story in a game in Thessaloniki where 8th ranked Kymis (4-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Aris (6-4) 85-72. The game was mostly controlled by Aris. Kymis was better in fourth quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for Serbian power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Will Cummings (188-92, college: Temple) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Aris players scored in double figures. Center Stavros Toutziarakis (210-87, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and British point guard Ogooluwa Adegboye (182-87, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Octagon Europe) added 13 points in the effort for Kymis. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aris have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with PAOK. Newly promoted Kymis keeps the eighth position with six games lost. Aris' next round opponent will be Apollon Patras (#10) on the road where they are favorite. Kymis will play against Promitheas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
