We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Oslo where sixth ranked Centrum (7-8) smashed 5th ranked Gimle BBK (8-7) 90-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-67. Centrum dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Gimle BBK's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Aksel Bolinz (201-90, college: N.Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) who added 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Eivind Lamo (193-96) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and Swedish point guard Lars Oskar Granath (183-95) scored 14 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending champion maintains sixth position with 7-8 record. Loser Gimle BBK keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Centrum's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Persbraten.
