SuperLeague top team - Bashkimi (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Ylli (4-6) in Prizren 96-57. Bashkimi made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Ylli turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Ylli's players. It was a great evening for American forward Kayel Locke (196-94, college: NC-Greensboro) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Kejuan Johnson (193-85, college: Long Beach St., agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals. The former international center Urim Zenelaj (213-91, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and center Ergin Grosha (212-93) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Bashkimi and four Ylli players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bashkimi have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Ylli at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Rahoveci. Bashkimi are looking forward to face Trepca (#4) in Mitrovice in the next round. Ylli will play at home against Sigal Prishtina and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
