Regular Season Round 10: Tartu Ulikool - TLU/Kalev 86-65

Alexela KML top team - TU/Rock (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked TLU/Kalev (1-9) in Tartu 86-65. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. TLU/Kalev was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded TLU/Kalev 44-33 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. TLU/Kalev was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. International Janari Joesaar (198-93, college: UTRGV, agency: Three Eye Sports) notched 19 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the effort and Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) supported him with 6 points and 13 rebounds. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by the former international point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) did not help to save the game for TLU/Kalev. The former international forward Kaido Saks (207-86, agency: Blacktop Management) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. TU/Rock maintains first position with 9-1 record. TLU/Kalev lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
