Regular Season Round 10: Arras - Dunkerque 58-45

Date: December 10, 2016
Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Dunkerque (3-7) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Arras (6-4) 58-45. The game without a history. Arras led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 28 Dunkerque turnovers. It was a very good performance for American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Guard Aminata Konate (169-90) contributed with 4 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals for the winners. Latvian center Aija Brumermane (192-86) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Anais Viale (188-91) added 4 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dunkerque. Arras moved-up to fourth place, which they share with COB Calais and Reims. Dunkerque at the other side keeps the tenth position with seven games lost. Arras' next round opponent will be Limoges (#13) at home and are hoping to win another game. Dunkerque will play against Aulnoye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
