Regular Season Round 21: Chanson V-M - Mitsubishi K. 72-55

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Mitsubishi K.'s (11-8) road loss to fifth ranked Chanson V-M (13-6) in Shizuoka 55-72. The game was mostly controlled by Chanson V-M. Mitsubishi K. was better in second period 12-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was international forward Sanae Motokawa (175-92) who had a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Guard Minaho Minamiminoru (167-93) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Aya Watanabe (170-92) who recorded 25 points and 9 rebounds and international center Risa Nishioka (184-97) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Chanson V-M moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Denso Iris. Mitsubishi K. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Chanson V-M's next round opponent will be again Mitsubishi K. (#6) in Nagoya.
