Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Vicenza (5-7) defeated on the road 13th ranked Milano Urania (3-9) 76-69 on Saturday. It was a good game for point guard Daniele Demartini (187-84, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with 17 points. Power forward Luca Ianes (203-80, agency: SPORTlab Agency) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) replied with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Milano Urania. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Vicenza went down to tenth position (B) due to points difference. Milano Urania lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with nine games lost. Vicenza will face higher ranked Cento (#3) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Milano Urania will play against Desio (#8) and hope to win that game.
