Regular Season Round 10: Start Lublin - Stelmet ZG 63-85

Everything went according to plan in Lublin where fourth ranked Stelmet (8-3) outscored bottom-ranked TBV Start (1-10) 85-63. It was a very good performance for international swingman Karol Gruszecki (193-89, college: Texas Arlington) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. The former international swingman Przemyslaw Zamojski (193-86, college: Independence CC) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Serbian forward Stefan Balmazovic (199-89) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and American power forward Brandon Peterson (204-90, college: Arkansas St., agency: Inception Sports) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for TBV Start. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with MKS DG and PGE Turow. TBV Start at the other side stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Stelmet's next round opponent will be Anwil (#5) in Wloclawek. TBV Start will play on the road against Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (#11) and hope to win that game.
