There was no surprise when 12th ranked Start Lublin II (2-12) lost at home to second ranked Syntex Ksiezak (12-2) 82-68 on Sunday. Point guard Hubert Makuch (180-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 8 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Michal Swiderski (194-87) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Michal Jankowski (191-87) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and Pawel Kowalski (197-83) added 24 points in the effort for Start Lublin II. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Syntex Ksiezak have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group B leader. Loser Start Lublin II keeps the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Syntex Ksiezak will face Zubry (#10) in Bialystok in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Start Lublin II will play on the road against AZS PS Kielce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
