The game in Oslo was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Gimle BBK (8-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Ammerud Bskt (4-10). Gimle BBK did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 100-82 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Gimle BBK. Ammerud Bskt was better in second period 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Daniel Berg (195-86, college: NYIT) who added 29 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-German forward Marco Sanders (202-79, college: Point Park) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Thomas Vangen (184-79) scored 5 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Gimle BBK maintains fifth position with 8-7 record. Ammerud Bskt lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Gimle BBK will have a break next round. Ammerud Bskt's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Persbraten.
