Everything went according to plan in Hiroshima where third ranked Dragonflies (17-5) edged 5th ranked Bambitious Nara (6-16) 73-70 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 73-70. The best player for the winners was American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) who scored 9 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) chipped in 19 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots).
