There was no surprise when 10th ranked MKS DG 2 (3-10) was outleveled on the road by seventh ranked Przemysl (6-6) 83-53 on Sunday. Przemysl dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to MKS DG 2's 28. Przemysl forced 21 MKS DG 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by MKS DG 2's players. Artur Mikolajko (197-79) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Lukasz Lewinski (187-99) replied with 14 points and 4 assists and center Adam Niespor (200-99) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for MKS DG 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Przemysl have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position in Group C with 6-6 record. MKS DG 2 lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with ten games lost. Przemysl will face Wisla Krakow (#10) on the road in the next round. MKS DG 2 will play against Rybnik and hope to win that game.
