There was an upset when higher ranked Varese Robur (5-6) lost on the road to fifteenth ranked Domodossola (4-8) 75-64 on Sunday. Domodossola outrebounded Varese Robur 41-22 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Corrado Bianconi (202-94) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Maurizio Realini (190-83) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Federico Bolzonella (184-84) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Luca Matteucci (200-85) added 21 points in the effort for Varese Robur. Varese Robur's coach Francesco Vescovi let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Domodossola moved-up to eleventh place in B, which they share with Reggio Emilia.
