Very expected game when 16th ranked Maddaloni (1-11) was smashed at home by ninth ranked Teramo (5-6) 81-62 on Sunday. It was a good game for guard Simone Salamina (188-88) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Teramo players scored in double figures. Guard Ernesto Carrichiello (197-84) replied with 19 points and forward Giuseppe Luongo (196-91) added 12 points in the effort for Maddaloni. Newly promoted Teramo maintains ninth position in B with 5-6 record. Loser Maddaloni keeps the sixteenth place with 11 games lost. Teramo will face higher ranked Basket Barcellona (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Maddaloni will play against Scauri (#10) and hope to win that game.
