An interesting game for Panathinaikos (6-2) which hosted in Athens 4th ranked Panathlitikos (4-4). Second ranked Panathinaikos had an easy win 85-69. The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Panathlitikos managed to win third quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Panathinaikos had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Panathlitikos' players. The former international Aspasia Kalampakou (178-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Panathinaikos maintains second position with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Olympiacos. Panathlitikos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Panathinaikos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Panionios.
