The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Grodno-93 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Grodno-93 smashed 7th ranked BSEU-GrandPrint at home 124-67. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to BSEU-GrandPrint's 44 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BSEU-GrandPrint 53-25 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Grodno-93 looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by BSEU-GrandPrint's players. The best player for the winners was forward Kiryl Chumakov (197-95) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Dmitry Kuzmin (196-75) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Grodno-93's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Dmitriy Roslikau (182-95) produced 19 points and forward Stainslau Ulyanka (194-99) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Grodno-93 and four BSEU-GrandPrint players scored in double figures. Grodno-93 (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. BSEU-GrandPrint lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. BSEU-GrandPrint will play next round against GOCOR-Sozh trying to get back on the winning streak. Grodno-93 will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Tsmoki II in Minsk.
