The game in Anshan was also quite interesting. 4th ranked Whale (7-13) played at the court of fifth ranked Liaoning Hengye (7-15). Liaoning Hengye defeated Whale 78-66 on Tuesday. Liaoning Hengye forced 19 Whale turnovers. American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jinbo Xing (181-96) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Liaoning Hengye players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut) responded with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds and guard HongChun Wang (182-88) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Whale's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Liaoning Hengye maintains fifth position in Group B with 7-15 record. Newly promoted Whale dropped to the third place with 13 games lost.
