Regular Season Round 10: Asseco - Szczecin 75-84

Everything could happen in Gdynia at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Wilki Morskie and 9th ranked Asseco had identical 5-5 record. But Asseco was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Szczecin 84-75. Wilki Morskie made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Asseco helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Guinean-American guard Russell Robinson (185-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wilki Morskie (6-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Krosno and Rosa Radom. Asseco at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Wilki Morskie's next round opponent will be higher ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#4) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Asseco will play against Rosa (#6) in Radom and hope to win that game.
