Regular Season Round 15: Domino Inowr. - Asseco II 76-71

Everything could happen in Inowroclaw at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Domino Inowr. and 7th ranked Asseco II had identical 8-5 record. This time Domino Inowr. used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Gdynia 76-71 on Wednesday night. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for Krzysztof Kozlowski (198-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Marcin Majer (199-88) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Domino Inowr. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Michal Kolodziej (202-97, agency: Alti Sport) with 25 points and 9 rebounds and center Mateusz Itrich (201-97) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Domino Inowr.. They maintain third place with 9-5 record having just two points less than leader Syntex Ksiezak, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Asseco II dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Domino Inowr. will face league's leader Pelplin in Pelpin in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Asseco II will play at home against Gniezno (#10) and hope to win that game.
