Visby Ladies (2-11) outlasted Mark (7-6) in overtime by eleven points 80-69. Mark was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 16-8 charge of Visby Ladies, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 17-6. Visby Ladies dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mark's 34. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Mark's players. American forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Visby Ladies' next round opponent will be higher ranked KFUM Ostersund (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
