Visby Ladies (2-11) outlasted Mark (7-6) in overtime by eleven points 80-69. Mark was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 16-8 charge of Visby Ladies, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 17-6. Visby Ladies dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mark's 34. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Mark's players. American forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds. Canadian center Jose-Ann Johnson (193-93, college: Duquesne) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Visby Ladies players scored in double figures. American guard Tiasha Gray (170-94, college: Austin Peay St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and international center Elin Ljunggren (185-96) added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Mark. Visby Ladies maintains ninth position with 2-11 record. Mark lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. Visby Ladies' next round opponent will be higher ranked KFUM Ostersund (#7) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
