Regular Season Round 15: Grodno-93 - Tsmoki II 102-52

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Tsmoki II (10-1) on the court of leader Grodno-93 on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Grodno-93 102-52. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Tsmoki II. The game without a history. Grodno-93 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki II's 36. Grodno-93 forced 27 Tsmoki II turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Tsmoki II's players. It was a great evening for swingman Timofei Evsievich (197-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 assists. Forward Andrei Navoichyk (200-91) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Grodno-93 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Maksim Koratcov (171-98) with 11 points and 6 rebounds and forward Maksim Liutych (200-97) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Tsmoki II's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Grodno-93 (13-0) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third position with one game lost. Grodno-93 are again looking forward to face Tsmoki II (#3) in Minsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tsmoki II will have a break next round.
