Regular Season Round 15: Final Genclik - Mamak DSI 96-93

Important game to mention about took place in Bursa. Seventeenth ranked Final Genclik (4-11) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 14th ranked Mamak DSI (4-11) 96-93 in the fight for the fourteenth place. Final Genclik looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Rahim Rizvanoglu (183-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Arnett Moultrie (208-90, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the other American import guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St.) added 30 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Final Genclik moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Yalova Bld and Mamak DSI. Mamak DSI lost their fifth game in a row. Final Genclik will face higher ranked Socar Petkim (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
