Sixteenth-ranked Cocinas.com (3-12) made lots of trouble for twelfth ranked Caceres Basket (7-8) on Friday. Caceres Basket managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Cocinas.com won fourth quarter 28-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Caceres Basket made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Five Cocinas.com players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Caceres Basket moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Melilla and Palma. Loser Cocinas.com keeps the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Marin. Caceres Basket will meet higher ranked Burgos (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
