The game in Prudnik was also quite interesting. 4th placed Polonia Leszno (9-6) played at the court of fifth ranked Pogon Prudnik (10-5). Pogon Prudnik managed to secure a 8-point victory 82-74 on Saturday. Pogon Prudnik looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Tomasz Nowakowski (207-90) accounted for 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Radoslaw Trubacz (196-94) added 15 points respectively for Polonia Leszno in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pogon Prudnik moved-up to fourth place, which they share with GTK Gliwice. Newly promoted Polonia Leszno dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with GKS Tychy. Pogon Prudnik will meet Rosa II Radom (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polonia Leszno will play against Astoria Bydg. (#15) and hope to secure a win.
