The game between Top Four teams took place in Leiden. Third ranked host Leiden (9-4) smashed 4th placed Amsterdam (6-7) 90-66. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Leiden outrebounded Amsterdam 43-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Daviyon Draper (201-94, college: FIU) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and international forward Mohamed Kherrazi (200-90) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. At the losing side Max Van Schaik (210-91, agency: Court Side) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Aaron Roye (184-88) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leiden moved-up to second place, which they share with Zwolle. Amsterdam at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Dukes UDB. Leiden is looking forward to face Zwolle (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Amsterdam will play against Leeuwarden and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
