Regular Season Round 11: Killester - DCU Saints 78-75

Ninth-ranked DCU Saints (3-8) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Killester (7-3) in Dublin. Killester managed to secure only three-point victory 78-75. However their fans expected much easier game. Naturalized American forward Jermaine Turner (195-74, college: Dowling) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Cian Nihill (193-88) contributed with 19 points for the winners. International center Martins Provizors (202-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Kevin O'Hanlon (186-95) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for DCU Saints. The victory was the third consecutive win for Killester. They moved-up to fourth place. DCU Saints at the other side keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Killester's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Dublin to the arena Swords Thunder.
