Regular Season Round 14: IK Eos - Visby 81-73

Rather expected game in Lund where 9th ranked Visby Ladies (2-11) were defeated by sixth ranked IK Eos (8-7) 81-73. Visby Ladies were ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 28-10 charge of IK Eos, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 25 Visby Ladies turnovers. Austrian guard Georgia De Leeuw (177-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. American Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Young is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Taylor Gault (173-93, college: UALR) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Visby Ladies. IK Eos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Visby Ladies at the other side keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. IK Eos' next round opponent will be league's leader Udominate in Umea and it may be the game of the week. Visby Ladies will play on the road against KFUM Ostersund (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
