Regular Season Round 16: St Vallier - Quimper 84-83

Important game to mention about took place in Saint Vallier. Fifth ranked Saint Vallier (10-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Quimper UJAP (12-4) 84-83 on Saturday evening. Saint Vallier players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and American power forward Steffon Bradford (198-77, college: Nebraska) supported him with 16 points. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds by Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) did not help to save the game for Quimper UJAP. American forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Saint Vallier moved-up to third place, which they share with Caen and RAC Basket. Quimper UJAP at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Saint Vallier will play against Vendee Challans (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Quimper UJAP will play against Union Rennes (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
