Everything could happen in Vimpeli at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked ViVe and 7th ranked Aanekosken had identical 5-8 record. This time ViVe used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Aanekoski 101-80. The game without a history. ViVe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 Aanekosken turnovers. It was a great shooting night for ViVe especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Swingman Lele Hardy (182-88, college: Clemson) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Olivia Nash (185-94, college: Oakland) supported her with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Five ViVe players scored in double figures. Even 29 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by guard Faith Randolph (178, college: Virginia) did not help to save the game for Aanekosken. Center Kenya Robinson (183-70, college: New Orleans) added 19 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. ViVe maintains sixth position with 6-8 record. Aanekosken lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with nine games lost. ViVe's next round opponent will be higher ranked Espoo Utd (#3) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. Aanekosken will play against the league's second-placed Forssan Alku (#2) and hope to win that game.
