Regular Season Round 15: Znicz Basket - Kotwica 80-75

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Znicz Basket (6-9) won against higher ranked Kotwica (6-9) in Pruszkow 80-75. The best player for the winners was center Damian Cechniak (208-93) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Adrian Sulinski (185-89, agency: Promotex) who recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Pawel Pawlowski (196-82) added 11 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Five Kotwica players scored in double figures. Znicz Basket moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Kotwica and SKK Siedlce. Znicz Basket's next round opponent will be league's leader Sokol Lancut on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
