The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Oviedo CB as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Oviedo CB defeated 10th ranked Palma at home 90-76. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 50-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Oviedo CB shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Daniel Perez (200-69) who scored 15 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots).
