Damligan top team - Udominate (13-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (7-5) in Umea 78-41. The game without a history. Udominate led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping Dolphins' 26. They outrebounded Norrkoping Dolphins 33-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Udominate made 7 blocks. Latvian center Zenta Melnika (197-91) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Slovakian center Klaudia Lukacovicova (195-90) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American center Shanity James (183-93, college: UALR) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Finnish center Sofia Pelander (192-92) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Udominate have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-0 record. Norrkoping Dolphins lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost.
