Regular Season Round 11: Lavrio - Kolossos HH 65-67

A very close game took place in Lavrio between Kolossos HH and Lavrio. Seventh ranked Kolossos HH (6-5) got a very close victory on the road over 11th ranked Lavrio (3-8). Kolossos HH managed to escape with a 2-point win 67-65 on Saturday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lavrio won fourth quarter 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for forward Juvonte Reddic (206-92, college: VCU) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Langston Hall (193-91, college: Mercer) helped adding 17 points and 8 assists. Guard Kevin Punter (188-93, college: Tennessee) responded with 16 points and guard Demarius Bolds (193-84, college: Missouri Western) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Lavrio's coach Christos Serellis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kolossos HH moved-up to fifth place, which they share with AGOR and PAOK. Loser Lavrio dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Apollon Patras and Koroivos. Kolossos HH will meet at home higher ranked AEK Athens (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lavrio will play against Aris (#4) in Thessaloniki and hope to secure a win.
