There was no surprise when 10th ranked Croatia 2006 (1-10) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Pula C.Tours (5-5) 121-73 on Sunday. The game without a history. Pula C.Tours led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Croatia 2006's 48. They outrebounded Croatia 2006 37-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Pula C.Tours shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Croatia 2006's players. The best player for the winners was international forward Lea Miletic (183-95) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 22 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field). Guard Ivana Dukic (172-92) chipped in 29 points and 8 assists. Five Pula C.Tours players scored in double figures. Pula C.Tours had such big advantage that coach Ivan Dukic felt comfortable to give the chance to play for 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Marijana Mamic (186-93) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Iris Jakin added 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Pula C.Tours moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pozega and Podravac. Croatia 2006 lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with ten games lost. Pula C.Tours will face Sibenik (#9) at home in the next round. Croatia 2006's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena ZKK Medvescak.
