Very important is a home loss of third ranked Stal II Ostrow (9-5) against thirteenth ranked Nowa Sol (2-12) on Sunday night. Host Stal II Ostrow was defeated by Nowa Sol in a tough game in Ostrow 60-67. It was a great evening for Jakub Der (192-96, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Kamil Zywert (186-96) helped adding 17 points. Four Nowa Sol players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Mikolaj Spala (189-93) with 25 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Lukasz Olejnik (203-79) scored 5 points and 14 rebounds. Nowa Sol moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with AZS PP and TKM Wloclawek. Newly promoted Stal II Ostrow keeps the third position with five games lost. Nowa Sol will face Kalisz (#12) at home in the next round. Stal II Ostrow will play against Miedzychod (#10) and hope to win that game.
