Very expected game when bottom-ranked Venafro (0-13) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Bisceglie (10-3) 75-59 on Sunday. Forward Gianmarco Leggio (203-94) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and guard Marco Cucco (188-94, agency: Players Group) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bisceglie players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Ukrainian center Oleksander Kuschev (201-90) responded with 8 points and 15 rebounds and guard Mario Tamburrini (188-94) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bisceglie keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams.
