Regular Season Round 25: Kyoto Hannar. - Tochigi Brex 72-70

The most exciting game of round 25 in the B League took place in Kyoto. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Tochigi Brex (18-5) to fourth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (12-13) 72-70 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Tochigi Brex. The hosts trailed by 18 points after three quarters before their 27-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kyoto Hannar. dominated on the defensive end, holding Tochigi Brex to just 7 points in fourth quarter. American forward Lawrence Hill (203-87, college: Stanford) fired 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Yusuke Okada (185-84) chipped in 29 points. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and guard Yutaro Suda (188-92) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Kyoto Hannar. moved-up to third place, which they share with Hitachi SR and Sanen. Tochigi Brex at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
