No shocking result in a game in Perugia where third ranked San Severo (10-3) won against 14th ranked Valdiceppo (3-9) 81-70 on Sunday. Valdiceppo was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) stepped up and scored 22 points for the winners and forward Iris Ikangi (200-94, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four San Severo players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Matteo Orlandi (190-91) responded with 17 points and center Alessandro Panzieri (201-95, college: High School) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Valdiceppo's coach Paolo Pierotti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for San Severo. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Valdiceppo lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with nine games lost.
