Important game to mention about took place in Almagra. Sixth ranked Olimpico de La Banda (13-11) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging leader San Lorenzo (17-6) 85-83 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Adrian Boccia (195-82) who helped to win the game recording 21 points. The former international point guard Maximiliano Stanic (178-78, agency: Players Group) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. The former international Marcos Mata (201-86) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Carlos Matias Sandes (201-84) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for San Lorenzo. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpico de La Banda have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Instituto. Defending champion San Lorenzo still keeps top position with six games lost. They share it with San Martin C.. Olimpico de La Banda will play against league's second-placed Estudiantes C. in Concordia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. San Lorenzo will play at home against Penarol and hopes to get back on the winning track.
