Regular Season Round 12: Oostende - Castors Braine 60-98

Top Division Women top team - Castors Braine (12-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked KB D-Glas (3-8) in Oostende 98-60. Castors Braine dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to KB D-Glas' 34. Castors Braine forced 26 KB D-Glas turnovers and outrebounded them 49-38 including 21 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of Serbian-Bosnian center Nikolina Milic (191-94, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points and 20 rebounds and the former international Antonia Delaere (180-94) who added 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Castors Braine players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian Melissa Rondinelli (184-92) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Xania Bollenberg (160-98) scored 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. KB D-Glas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Castors Braine have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-0 record. KB D-Glas at the other side keep the eighth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Laarne. Castors Braine will play against Liege (#5) at home in the next round. KB D-Glas will play against Laarne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
