Regular Season Round 15: Tarnovia - Asseco II 58-83

Everything could happen in Tarnowo Podgorne at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Asseco II and 9th ranked Tarnovia had identical 7-6 record. But Tarnovia was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Gdynia 83-58 on Sunday night. Asseco II forced 20 Tarnovia turnovers. It was a great evening for power forward Michal Kolodziej (202-97, agency: Alti Sport) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Kacper Traczyk (186-98) helped adding 14 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Milosz Sroczynski (195-90) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and center Marcin Eichert (200-91) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Asseco II (8-6) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Tarnovia dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Asseco II will face Gniezno (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tarnovia will play against Goleniow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
