Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Senigallia (5-7) smashed at home 15th ranked Monteroni (3-10) 91-63 on Sunday. They outrebounded Monteroni 49-35 including 34 on the defensive glass. Guard Andrea Maggiotto (194-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Nicola Bastone (195-92) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side power forward Simone Zanotti (208-92) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and Federico Ingrosso (187-94) scored 11 points and 7 assists. Five Senigallia and four Monteroni players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Senigallia moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Cefalu and Varese Robur. Monteroni lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Senigallia will face Isernia (#12) on the road in the next round. Monteroni will play against the league's leader Montegrano having rather not much hope for a victory.
