Regular Season Round 15: Wisla Krakow - Przemysl 43-70

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Wisla Krakow (3-10) was outplayed at home by seventh ranked Przemysl (7-7) 70-43 on Sunday. Przemysl dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Wisla Krakow's 24. It was a great evening for Artur Mikolajko (197-79) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Cezary Guminski (190-94) helped adding 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Przemysl players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jakub Wojciechowski (197-93) scored 7 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Przemysl. They maintain seventh place with 7-7 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Wisla Krakow dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Przemysl will face higher ranked Rybnik (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wisla Krakow will play against Polonia Bytom (#3) and hope to win that game.
