Regular Season Round 13: Persbraten - Ammerud Bskt 82-85

Important game to mention about took place in Oslo. Eighth ranked Ammerud Bskt (5-11) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 10th ranked Persbraten (1-14) 85-82 on Monday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Persbraten won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Persbraten was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American-German forward Marco Sanders (202-79, college: Point Park) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Samuel Amed Diomande (193-88) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Hungarian-Swedish guard Zoltan Kurinczky (181-82) answered with 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Swedish guard Aron Furstenberg (192-88) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Persbraten. Ammerud Bskt maintains eighth place with 5-11 record. Persbraten lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
