Regular Season Round 12: Fiat TO - Grissin Bon RE 85-73

The most important game in the last round took place in Torino between third ranked Grissin Bon RE (8-4) and eighth ranked Auxilium TO (6-6) on Monday night. Grissin Bon RE was defeated by Auxilium TO on the road 85-73. The game without a history. Auxilium TO led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American D.J. White (206-86, college: Indiana) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Tyler Harvey (193-93, college: E.Washington) who added 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international Pietro Aradori (194-88) with 13 points and 5 rebounds and international center Riccardo Cervi (214-91) scored 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Auxilium TO moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Enel Brindisi. Grissin Bon RE at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Scandone AV. Auxilium TO is looking forward to face Banco di Srd (#9) in Sassari in the next round. Grissin Bon RE will play at home against the league's leader Armani Milano (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
