Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Magia Huesca (4-12) lost at home to eleventh ranked Melilla Baloncesto (8-8) 68-61. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-14. But Magia Huesca won second period 13-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Melilla Baloncesto made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Melilla Baloncesto had a 35-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Eduard Gatell (205-89) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Point guard Pedro Rivero (186-79) chipped in 16 points. Center Alberto Fontet (213-86) produced 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American guard Greg Gantt (188-91, college: Florida Atlantic) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Melilla Baloncesto moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Palma. Magia Huesca lost fourth consecutive game. Magia Huesca at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 12 games lost.
